Middle School

STEM 101’s middle grades repository represents a blended learning, project-based curriculum that is accessible from any Web-enabled device. Students are actively engaged in hands-on minds-on activities through which they realize the application and relevance of their STEM education experience. STEM 101’s middle grades repository includes career exploratory pathways for agriculture, architecture, aviation, biotechnology, coding, electronics, energy, engineering, design, food science, information technology, manufacturing, medical, sustainability and transportation. The curriculum is based on national standards that correlate to individual state standards. The flexible use curriculum design produces a meta-disciplinary STEM education practice through which all faculty and students are engaged. STEM 101’s middle grades repository includes over 400 hours of blended-learning curriculum and project-based activities for in-school, after-school and summer bridge programming. Repository units include learning objectives, teacher resources, content knowledge, student activity, STEM connections and assessments.

Investigating STEM Skills students are introduced to a wide variety of baseline employability skills as well as specific career pathways. Designing with STEM introduces students to the fun and powerful tools of designing and problem solving. The activities and academic applications engage the learner to embrace Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics while they examine each of the integral steps of critical design and problem solving.

Discovering STEM

Discovering STEM curriculum students will be introduced to basic STEM concepts. Students will take part in an activity from each area with culminating activities that put their STEM skills to the test. Students will enjoy hands on minds on approach to learning about science, technology, engineering, and math. Each activity is designed to give the teacher flexibility of delivery.
