Air Drag Challenge

This project challenges students to design, print, and race their very own model racecar. Inspired by the excitement of traditional CO2-powered dragster projects, the Air Drag Challenge also introduces students to modern manufacturing methods like 3D printing and computer-aided design. Printed vehicles are launched down a string-guided raceway via basic compressed air distributed by a CTech Launch Box. Varying levels of design autonomy make the Air Drag Challenge an exciting and engaging project for many age groups.

This kit includes the Launch box, wheels, axles, and race track setup. Students will design their own car using an online CAD software based off our 3d templates. The car body, wings, fins, and motor will need to be 3d printed. 3D Printer is not included in this kit.
