The STEM Academy, Inc. partners with the Ministry of Education to transform STEM education for middle grade students in Bermuda.
Bermuda students, as a result of STEM 101 curriculum integration, will be inspired to pursue 21st century STEM careers and post-secondary advancement via career exploration projects inside of the STEM 101 middle grade curriculum platform. STEM 101 features over 100 student projects, introducing students to 16 career clusters, 79 career pathways and hundreds of occupations.
STEM 101 master trainers conducted two separate professional development sessions to prepare Bermuda STEM instructors for the program roll out. Teachers learned skills targeted to directly impact classrooms with hands-on, cross-curricular, projects and STEM instructional practices.
This strong partnership will bring STEM to the Ministry of Education’s 38 schools which support 6,000+ students.
